Leadership

Rev. Hammond has been pastor of Unity ARP since 2005.  He is a native of Rock Hill, SC where he was a member of Tirzah ARP Church.  He earned a BS degree from Clemson University and a MDiv degree from Erskine Theological Seminary.  Rev. Hammond and his wife, Michelle, have three children:  Abbi, Emma, and Alex.

Jennifer is a native of Lancaster and a lifelong member of Unity ARP.  She serves as secretary, organist, and pianist.  She has been church secretary since 2003, organist since 2016 and pianist/accompanist since 1984.  Jennifer and her husband, Tommy, have two children:  Alayna and Emma

Lisa is a native of Lancaster and a longtime member of Unity ARP.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she earned both her bachelors and masters degree in information and library science.  Lisa currently serves as the Information Technology Specialist for the Lancaster County School District.  She and her husband, Tim (below), have two children - Justin and Jena - and  four grandchildren - Grayson, Stetson, Libba and Mary Alan.  

Tim is a native of Lancaster and a lifelong member of Unity ARP.  Tim is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and currently serves as the manager/marketing executive for Lancaster at Comporium Communications.  Tim is married to Lisa (above).

Jean has been our custodian for more than 29 years.  She is a lifelong member of Unity ARP and you can find her on Sunday mornings in our nursery where she has taught Sunday School for many, many years.  She has two children:  Wanda Ingram and Angie Matthews.  She also has two grandchildren - Brett and Ryan -  and four great grandchildren - James, Ellie, Logan, and Emma.

Karen is a Lancaster native and a lifelong member of Unity ARP.  She retired in January 2019 as Regional Vice President of AgSouth Farm Credit after 38 years of service.  She has been treasurer of Unity ARP since 2007.  She lives in the Unity community with her husband, Don.  They have two children - Chandler and Bailey - and three grandchildren - Rhett, Watson, and Lake.  

A lifelong resident of Lancaster and member of Unity ARP, Alayna joined our staff as Youth Director in August, 2021.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a  bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.  She married her high school sweetheart, Trey, and they live in Lancaster with their dog, Dixie Lou.  Alayna is a third grade teacher at Buford Elementary School.
